Dennis Nerland Q.C. | Board Chairman
Dennis has been a partner with the law firm Shea Nerland Calnan LLP since 1990. He primarily practices in the areas of tax and trust law. Dennis is a director of several public companies, including Crew Energy Inc., CriticalControl Solutions Corp. and DeeThree Exploration Ltd.. He also sits on the board of directors at several private companies, including Black Seal Resources Corp., CanAir Nitrogen Fund and Pacesetter Directional Drilling Ltd. He was formerly a director of Baytex Energy Ltd., Plains Energy Services Ltd. and Savanna Energy Services Corp. Dennis holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary, a Master of Arts (economics) from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Science (economics and mathematics) from the University of Calgary. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and has completed the Rotman/Haskayne Directors Education Program. In 2011, he achieved the designation of Institute-Certified Director from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Sanjay is a managing partner at Nuvero LLP and serves as a trusted advisor to clients on Canadian income tax matters. Sanjay assists private business owners with structuring, estate and succession planning, and with strategic purchase and sale matters.
Aly Bandali, FCHRP | CEO and Board Director
Aly has almost 20 years of executive management experience in the field of human resources. He has worked as an HR strategist in a variety of sectors, including oil and gas, energy, engineering, municipal government, private enterprise and not-for-profit. Aly has been chairman of the Canadian Council of HR Associations, HR Institute of Alberta and HR Association of Calgary. He has also served on the HR Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Education Committee at the University of Alberta. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta. Aly received a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation in 1999 and was awarded with the FCHRP designation by the HRIA in 2016.
